Howdy, I’m Mark Larson. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. That photo is about 10 years old.

I read a lot because I’m a nerd, basically. Usually 70-80 books each year, and I try to write some book reviews or share notes about the better ones. My tumblr has become one of the most valuable ways for me to link to and remember stuff I think about a lot. Like film, relationships, work, opinions, empathy, arguments, happiness, death, travel, thinking, philosophy, stoicism, psychology, friends, and so on.

I also tweet and use Flickr for photos and Last.fm for music logging. I’m on the Facebooks, but not reliably. And yeah, LinkedIn, too.
